Known throughout the world as the management systems standard, ISO 9001 can be of great benefit to an organisation when it is properly understood and implemented. Conversely, if you get it wrong, it can be a burden and an overhead to an organisation which absorbs resource and prevents you from doing your job.

The most important thing for any organisation is to satisfy their customers. Happy customers come back and they trust you. They tell other people about you and recommend your products and services. It is always cheaper to do it right than wrong. How do you achieve that? By systemising the way you work and ensuring that you have competent people with the necessary tools to do the job.

The secret to a good quality management system (QMS) is to know what you want from it, design it well, implement it properly and maintain it in a timely manner. The design of the system is the first step and will dictate how your system looks. Will you stick with a paper based system with copies available where they are needed? Or will you use an electronic based system which sits on people's computer, just a click away?

At CPA we custom build the system that you want, making sure that it reflects your business processes so that people recognise the steps it takes. We then cross reference it to ISO 9001 to make sure it satisfies the standard and enables you to become externally certificated to provide evidence to the outside world that you provide a quality product and/or service.
